Julie Beane (M.E.M., Yale University School of Forestry and Environmental Studies) – Julie Beane has over 15 years of experience in environmental policy and research.  Before coming to Manomet, she was an environmental consultant in Washington, DC, and then worked for a leading community economic development organization in Maine.  She helped build Manomet’s reputation in forest offsets by developing a scorecard for evaluating the quality of forest carbon offset projects.  She currently works with small businesses to improve their financial, social, and environmental sustainability.

Ethel Wilkerson (M.S./M.P.A. Aquatic Ecology and Public Affairs, Indiana University) –  Ethel Wilkerson has over 10 years of research experience in aquatic ecology and developing ways to assure that forest ecosystems keep delivering clean water. She currently works with water districts, land trusts, conservation organizations, recreational groups, and state agencies to protect and enhance clean water in Maine.
